Luxe Electrical Industries didn’t just come out of nowhere—it’s the result of years of dedication, learning and passion.

Hi, I’m Tim Reyes, the founder of Luxe Electrical Industries and I’d love to share my journey with you.

I started my electrical career back in Auckland, New Zealand, where I learned the trade at a young age. It was in those early years that I discovered my passion for working with electrics and the pride of creating functional, safe spaces for people. After refining my skills for close to a decade, I made a big move to London, where I gained valuable experience working on high-end residential homes. This was a huge point in my career, as I was able to work on properties that demanded the highest level of precision, attention to detail and craftsmanship.

Following my time in London, I moved back closer to home, working in Sydney, the Gold Coast, Brisbane and now the Sunshine Coast. Each location brought new opportunities to expand my expertise, especially in luxury homes, which became my specialty. These experiences were vital in shaping the way I approach my work today—professional, top-quality and client-focused.

Starting Luxe Electrical Industries was a natural next step. With a growing family—I'm now a husband and dad of two—it felt like the right time to put my skills to work in a way that reflected my values. I wanted to build a business that provided high-end electrical services and cared about the community and the clients we served.

Now, along with Luxe Electrical, my wife and I have launched our third business, Nook Collective, a collaborative space offering a function and event space, meeting room and podcast recording studio here on the Sunshine Coast. Owning and running these businesses has been incredibly rewarding, and it’s been amazing to see Luxe grow and be recognised as a finalist in the 2024 Sunshine Coast Business Awards.
